The glass of water, and the kitchen behind it.
We treat drinking water at resident taps, in staff break rooms and in the kitchen. Your Legionella water management program belongs with a specialist, and our work sits inside the program they own.
Two different jobs. Ours is the drinking water.
Knowing exactly where the line sits is part of doing this well.
Medicare-certified long-term care facilities have had to keep a Legionella water management program since 2017. It is built on the framework in ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 188. The program sets out where the risks are, what gets checked, how often, and what happens when a check fails. It has to be written down and kept current.
That is a compliance program, not a piece of equipment. It covers the whole building: hot water temperature, how water circulates, pipes that sit unused, disinfectant levels and testing. It needs somebody who does that for a living. The liability sits with whoever owns it.
What we are good at is the drinking water. Resident taps, staff break rooms, and the kitchen that pours several hundred glasses a day. That work sits inside a wider program somebody else owns, and it belongs there.
Sizing follows the building: how many meals and how much beverage volume you serve, confirmed after we walk the place. We quote it from that, and we confirm the final price before scheduling.
